The film industry is a tough business to be in, and Covid-19 has brought a whole new level of uncertainty. We still don’t know what the long-term impact of the crisis will be.
As a response to this, Fireparty Lab has been set up with the generous support of Ffilm Cymru Wales, BFI Network and the National Lottery to offer mentoring and coaching for Welsh film industry professionals.
This scheme offers personal coaching and professional mentoring for Welsh film writers, director and producers - free of charge.

COACHING AND MENTORING
Experienced. Supportive. Confidential.
The coaching session focuses on the individual and on personal wellbeing. It will be entirely based on your own personal and professional goals and will help you to formulate strategies to become stronger and more effective in your work and life.
The mentoring session is about professional wellbeing. It might look at the slate of projects you have and help you to identify where to focus your energy. It might look at one specific project and help you to identify what changes need to be made in order to take the project to the next stage
Each participant will be offered both one hour of coaching and one hour of mentoring.
ALL SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE REMOTELY, VIA ZOOM, SKYPE ETC
This is an opportunity for anyone working as a writer, director or producer in the Film industry in Wales either resident in Wales or Welsh-born.
Participants can be at any stage of their career - though not entry level or students - and we are particularly happy to welcome applications from people who are currently under-represented in the industry. So if your first thought is 'This scheme isn't for people like me," then it probably is!
We want to hear from you.
